Go Digit General Insurance is a digital-first, full-stack non-life insurer, founded in 2017, that underwrites motor (own-damage and third-party), health, travel and commercial-lines insurance (fire, marine cargo, engineering and liability) for individuals and businesses. It earns premium income by pricing and underwriting these policies through a paperless, technology-driven process covering everything from policy issuance to claims settlement. The company distributes through a large network of agents, intermediaries, point-of-sale persons (POSPs) and motor insurance service providers (MISPs), as well as its own digital and direct-to-customer channels, taking coverage into tier-2, tier-3 towns and rural India.
